The Secret Life of Pets, the new animated film from the team behind Minions, takes a closer look at what cats, dogs, fish and canaries do at home while their owners are away. In this film, they just happen to get in a whole lot of trouble.
Behind those animal troublemakers are a fleet of actors who voice the characters of Max, his new roommate Duke, and a group of stranded animals led by a scary little rabbit. See which familiar faces voice those cute little animals below.

Louis C.K.
Louis C.K. voices Max, who sees his peaceful life get disturbed when his owner brings home a new dog, Duke. The comedian has had a big year so far, with his own series Louie, appearing in Portlandia and dropping his surprise series, Horace and Pete this spring. His next FX series, Better Things, is set to premiere on Sept. 8.
Eric Stonestreet
The Modern Family actor voices Secret Life of Pets'rescue dog Duke, who comes in to ruin a very comfortable lifestyle for Louis C.K.'s Max. Stonestreet was seen earlier this year in HBO's Confirmation alongside Kerry Washington, in which he playedKen Duberstein, a lobbyist brought in to coach Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings in the '90s.
Jenny Slate
The voice behind this fluffy (but dangerous) Pomeranian has had a busy year, also lending her voice to Zootopia'ssheep Bellwether and a snake in HBO's Animals. On the human side, Slate also appeared in Girls, Bob's Burgers and Joshy, as well as a turn as Karen Grisham (life coach) in Netflix's Lady Dynamite.
Kevin Hart
Comedian Kevin Hart follows up his year of action-comediesRide Along 2andCentral Intelligence,not to mention his MTV Movie Awards hosting gig,with his role as Snowball, the cute-but-terrifying leader of an underground resistance of undomesticated pets. Next up, Hart is joining Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black for aJumanjireboot.
Lake Bell
Chloe, the lazy neighbor cat, is voiced by Lake Bell, the actress who has also recently lent her talents to BoJack Horseman, Axe Cop, and even wrote, directed and starred in the 2013 voiceover film In a World...
Hannibal Buress
Other than voicing this dachshund, his comedy specialHannibal Takes Edinburgh and his role on Broad City, comicHannibal Buresshas a busy film schedule, already appearing in Neighbors 2 and The Nice Guys this year, with roles coming up in Baywatch and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Bobby Moynihan
Saturday Night Live's Bobby Moynihanappears as adorable/ruthless pug Mel, and also manages to lend his voice to several shows during the SNL off-season, including The Awesomes, We Bare Bears andJake and the Never Land Pirates.
Dana Carvey
The famous impressionist and SNL veteran voices the elderly Pops, also recently lending his voice to Hotel Transylvania 2, but Carvey's big moment this year might be this May, when he returned to SNL as his famous character, the Church Lady.
Albert Brooks
Tiberius the red-tailed hawk's Albert Brooks also appeared in this year's other big animated feature, starring in Finding Dory as Marlin, the father of the infamous Nemo.
Steve Coogan
Steve Coogan lends his voice to the alley at with a co*ckney accent, Ozone, who goes up against Louis C.K.'s Max. Coogan also recently voiced Professor Flux in Minions, and next up will star in An Ideal Home as a married couple with Paul Rudd.
