Apollo 13: Survival (Out now)

Filmmaker Peter Middleton is behind this new documentary on the historic Apollo 13 mission.

The story of what went wrong in April 1970 is told through rarely seen footage. Survival seeks to answer the question of what really happened when the spacecraft suffered a catastrophic explosion.

The Perfect Couple (Out now)

Amelia Sachs, played by Bad Sisters star Eve Hewson, is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket, until a shocking death derails the wedding — and turns everyone into a suspect.

Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber star as the titular couple in question, as they do their best to keep the family secrets hidden.

Rebel Ridge (6th September)

Aaron Pierre stars as a former marine in Rebel Ridge, who confronts corruption in a small town when his savings are unjustly seized by local police.

Unweaving the web of the criminal underworld, Pierre’s Terry Richmond must retrieve his money - to be used to bail his cousin out of prison - by any means necessary.

Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb and James Cromwell also star.

Emily in Paris Season 4 - Part 2 (12th September)

Having been split into two parts, you thankfully won’t have to wait long for the second half of the fourth season of Emily in Paris.

In this second part, Emily (Lily Collins) will head to Italy after finally choosing between love interests Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

In pops in a new potential flame too, with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) potentially causing issues while Emily is on her Roman Holiday.

Joey King, Brianne Tju, Keith Powers, Chase Stokes, and Laverne Cox star in this “brutally superficial” dystopia in Uglies.

Based on Scott Westerfeld’s 2005 best-selling novel of the same name, Uglies focuses on Tally Youngblood’s uprising against a society where appearance is everything, and everyone is forced to undergo cosmetic surgery as a teen.

Queen of Villains (19th September)

If you’re looking for something with a bit more punch, you might enjoy the story of Dump Matsumoto in Queen of Villains.

In the 1980s, Matsumoto took Japan by storm, creating a boom in women’s professional wrestling by being the most terrifying “heel” in the industry.

Spanning five episodes, the series explores the events that led to her rise to fame.

Romantic comedy Nobody Wants This is centred on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Adam Brody).

The 10-episode series is loosely based on show creator Erin Foster’s real-life experiences.

Nobody Wants This also stars Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons.

Slow Horses season four (Out Now)

Gary Oldman and the MI5 service rejects are back at Slough House for series four of Slow Horses.

Series four of Slow Horses will "open with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House".

Ruth Bradley joins the cast as new head of security Emma Flyte, while the likes of Jonathan Pryce and Jack Lowden make their return.

My Old Ass (27th September)

In this fresh coming-of-age story, an 18th birthday mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza).

But when Elliott’s “old ass” starts handing out warnings about what her younger self should and shouldn’t do, Elliott realises she has to rethink everything about family, love, and what’s becoming a transformative summer.

Killer Heat (27th September)

Based on Jo Nesbø’s short story The Jealousy Man, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Richard Madden star in crime-mystery film Killer Heat.

Set on a secluded Greek island, the plot unfolds around twin brothers entangled in a turbulent love triangle. Meanwhile, a troubled detective known as ‘The Jealousy Man’ is called in to unravel the intricate case.

Three years after her first appearance in the MCU, Katheryn Hahn will return to her WandaVision role of Agatha Harkness in Agatha All Along.

After being trapped in the town of Westview, New Jersey following the events of WandaVision, Agatha escapes thanks to the help of a goth teen, and the pair quickly form their own coven of witches.

Heartstopper’s Joe Locke, Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza star.

In Vogue: The 90s (Part One - 13th of September, Part Two - 20th September)

The series tells the definitive story of the fashion industry in the 90s through the eyes of Vogue editors, Hamish Bowles, Edward Enninful, Tonne Goodman and Anna Wintour.

Packed with some of the most influential names across fashion, film and politics, In Vogue: The 90s is a "thrilling journey across continents and through ten years that changed fashion forever."

From the globalisation of American fashion to the Met Gala. Each episode in this six-part series centres on a defining 90s moment.

After Baywatch: A Moment In The Sun (18th September)

A look back at one of TV’s most iconic series, After Baywatch: A Moment In The Sun explores the cultural phenomenon involving those bright red bathing suits.

The official synopsis reads: “Through dozens of new cast interviews and never-before-seen footage, this docuseries unpacks how the show captured the mythology of California’s beach culture, set physical beauty standards for an entire generation, and capitalised on the adage “sex sells.”

Tulsa King Season 2 (September 15th)

Sylvester Stallone is back for another round of Tusla King.

Following his release from prison, Mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Stallone) is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters.

Garrett Hedlund, Andrea Savage and Martin Starr are set to return.

Frasier season 2 (19th September)

Kelsey Grammer returns as Frasier Crane in fan favourite reboot series, which shows him coming back to Boston after the death of his father, Martin, the end of his relationship with Charlotte and the cancellation of his Chicago television show.

Along with Grammer, Butler and Brissett, the series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro, and Anders Keith. Additional guest stars this season include Peri Gilpin, returning as Roz Doyle, as well as Rachel Bloom, Yvette Nicole Brown, Greer Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Harriet Sansom Harris, and Amy Sedaris.

The first season of the revival was a huge success, and the show recently picked up three Emmy nominations - so season two has a lot to live up to.
