I first met Wade back in high school, but it wasn’t until we both joined the same coding bootcamp that our friendship truly blossomed. Those were some of the toughest months of my life, and I honestly don’t think I could have made it through without him. Wade was there for me in a way that no one else was. When things looked grim, he was the one who gave me courage and hope. He had this incredible way of making everything seem possible, even when I was ready to give up.
I remember one night in particular, I was pulling an all-nighter, struggling to finish an assignment. Wade stayed up with me—not to help with the work, but just to keep me focused. He’d crack a joke here and there, give me those little words of encouragement that meant the world at that moment. He didn’t have to do that, but that’s just who he was—selfless, supportive, and always looking out for others.
It breaks my heart to hear of his passing. The world feels a little dimmer without him in it. My heart goes out to his friends and family, and I want you to know that I’ll be praying for with you all. Wade touched so many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift us, just as he did when he was here.
-Love you, Wade.

I had the privilege of meeting Wade when I was visiting a friend in Boston. As we spent time together, he opened up a little bit about his past and his circ*mstances at the time. From the way he spoke about everything, I knew he was a man of character, who tried his best to be a good person despite the circ*mstances he found himself him. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing, but I have hope that he is in heaven. My heart goes out to this friends and family; I will be praying for you all.
